Lunar Lounge Design is a very cool, Internet based furniture Design Company specializing in hand fabricated, Mid Century Modern inspired, one of a kind furnishings and art pieces.
Jonathan, born and raised in Winnipeg and having a passion for mid-century design and architecture, found his niche by combining his interest of artistic expression and design through the medium of functional art in wood, metals and plastics.
With a self-taught, learn-as-we-go philosophy towards design that allows us to approach challenges freely and to discover new ideas. Taking an idea from the past and using modern materials and eco friendly processes to create practical solutions for today’s environment while retaining the same charm from decades ago.
With impeccable color selection and an eye for style, Jonathan has turned what once seemed like an unusual business model into a successful venture and has been serving the Mid Century Modernist Movement for this being his 10th year!
The product line of Lunar Lounge consists of cocktail tables; lounge seating, versatile storage solutions and case goods, task furniture and original wall art.

Our designs have been welcomed with open arms to such countries as the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Japan, Sweden, United States and the United Kingdom as well as all over Canada.
By special request, we often take up the challenge of creating “one of a kind” furniture pieces for the detail-oriented client who just can’t seem to find what they are looking for. Jonathan, along with his team will design and build your vision.
